Thinking about Rhinoplasty?
Making the decision to undergo rhinoplasty surgery can be a difficult one, but our team at the Rhinoplasty Clinic will discuss the process with you and answer any questions you have. We can take you through the process, the cost, and anything else you need to know in relation to rhinoplasty surgery, during your rhinoplasty consultation.
Patients with breathing problems, a birth defect or injury that has affected their nasal passages, a deviated septum, or other related issues may benefit from nose surgery.
When considering rhinoplasty, please keep in mind that the best candidates are those who are looking for an improvement in the way they look, not those searching for absolute perfection. In fact, patients who are completely obsessed with the appearance of their nose to the extent that it interferes with their daily living, should seek counselling prior to consulting a surgeon.
Friends and family from a non-medical background are often not a good source of information. This includes information about rhinoplasty surgery, expectations on recovery and cost. Find out as much information as you can about your rhinoplasty procedure before going ahead. We have found that a well-informed patient, who has clear expectations, is a happy patient.
Rhinoplasty surgery, when performed on the right candidate, by an experienced surgeon, can produce a positive transformation. Nose surgery has the potential to make the patient look more attractive and breath better.
Primary rhinoplasty usually takes around three to four hours. Although when performed together with other nose and sinus surgery procedures including nasal septal reconstruction and endoscopic sinus surgery, the surgery may take more time. Revision nose surgery usually takes longer and patients need to have a different level of expectation.
